The Infantry Buttpack Mk. 2.0 is designed to give the operator the possibility to carry a lot of extra equipment in a pouch that can easily be compressed to a minimum size.
The pouch features a flat pocket on the outside with a hook and loop closure. On the inside, the pouch features an open mesh storage compartment as well as a wide compartment made of elastic webbing ideal for carrying radio batteries or similar, heavy objects.
The elastic webbing compartment is placed high enough for the weight to be at the center of where the pouch is mounted (on the belt), with the result that the weight from the objects will not make the pouch “dangle” underneath the belt, during movement.
The pouch can be compressed using the webbing straps that go around the pouch. The adjustable bungee cord on the sides helps keep the pouch compressed at all times. These bungee cords can also be used to hold things as hats, gloves, etc.
The pouch can be mounted on 4 to 6 MOLLE/PALS columns as well as 45 mm and 50 mm belts.
