 "The creation of Tardigrade Tactical is a direct response to the experience gained from the Global War On Terror following 9/11, that resulted in a decade's long conflict in the middle east. Serving in the Danish Army, as light reconnaissance and later in the infantry and experiencing first-hand what the operational requirements were in Helmand, Afghanistan, I felt obligated to create better equipment for my fellow soldiers, given my interest and skillset in handcrafting and concept development. Also, back then I needed a hobby…"

Designed and manufacturered in Denmark

Since 2011, when Tardigrade Tactical was founded, we have specialized in the design and manufacturing of tactical equipment for military and law enforcement personnel primarily in Scandinavia, but also worldwide.

 We highly prioritize being close to our customers in our product development process.

We design and manufacture our products in our own facilities to maintain the highest level of control over as much of our supply chain as possible, making us resilient to external factors.

Designs based on real world experince

Our in-housecapabilities of design and manufacturing include a digitalized and automated range of processes, software, and machinery, including laser cutters and other high-volume-output machines, which enables us to scale our production output to the level needed for a specific project.

These capabilities combined allow us to carry a project from the idea phase all the way to a batch-production, cutting away costly outsourcing processes, long lead times, and a high chance of flaws.

People often ask us: "but can it really be done in Denmark?". Well…Yes. We are doing it, right now.

Here at Tardigrade Tactical, we value the fact that we can proudly add the label "Made in Denmark" to our products.

 We create jobs and we are spearheading the "proof of concept" of designing and manufacturing military textile equipment in Denmark at a scale not seen in recent times.

When given the chance, we also engage in scientific studies, nationally or internationally, and try to contribute as much as we can to spreading knowledge and inspiration to students, individuals, and businesses. 

 We source our materials from trusted partners in the USA, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Denmark to ensure a high level of quality. Also, we enjoy supporting and working with businesses in other NATO countries.
